In a family full of traditions and cheer, There's a cousin we eagerly await every year, His name is George, quite the character, you see, For he transforms at Christmas with festive glee.
In 1940, he donned the stars and stripes, As Uncle Sam, bringing patriotic hype, With a top hat and coat, and a voice so grand, He rallied the family across the land.
In 1956, his pelvis he shook, as Elvis Presley our hearts, he took. He sang "Heartbreak Hotel" in that year's show, Leaving us all with a rock 'n' roll glow.
In '65, a giant so green, The Jolly Green Giant, a sight to be seen, With a booming laugh and veggies so fine, He made our Christmas dinner divine.
In '73, he took on a role quite bold, As Archie Bunker, with opinions untold, He brought humor and satire to the table, with his son-in-law "Meathead" whose views were unstable.
In '84, he shocked with his change, as Boy George, with makeup...so strange! With colorful clothes and hat askew, He sang "Karma Chameleon," (oh so true!).
In '93, a transformation so mean, He became the Grinch, with a heart not so keen, But in the end, he learned the holiday's grace, And Christmas spirit lit up his face.
Then '98 came with a scandalous twist, Monica Lewinsky, not to be missed, He wore a blue dress and a lovely beret, but in the White House, George could not stay.
In 2006, he revved up the scene, As Ricky Bobby a racing machine! With "Talladega Nights" and a NASCAR past, he taught us all "if you ain't first, you're last"!
In 2016, a showstopper supreme! He transformed into Lady Gaga, it seems, With outrageous outfits all in play, George may have thought he was "Born This Way".
2023, Cousin George - such a sight! As a dress-wearing influencer for Bud Light! Though he did get in touch with his feminine side, he caused the sales of this beer to slide.
So here's to our George, the holiday star, who never ceases to travel so far, In each Christmas role, he brings us delight, A pop culture legend, shining so bright.
